Rin-po-che is considered and worshipped as second Buddha in Tibet and other countries. This great saint belonged to Uddiyan. Uddiyan is present Odisha. Rinpoche is Padmasambhava who was born in Sambal presently Sambalpur. He was a renowned Tantra Scholar of Nalanda University. Being invited by the king of Tibet he went there and propagared Tantric Buddhism in Tibet which is called Vajrayan. He established Vajrayan in Tibet, thats why he is famous as Guru Padmasambhava and second Buddha. He performed his sadhana in Viraja Kshetra of Jajpur and finally got his Parinirvan in Udayagiri, Jajpur. This novel speaks about his birth, parinirvana and philosophy etc of Vajrayan, a branch of Mahayana.
