?SHUDDHA BANAN SUTRA? (A Hand Book of Correct Spelling) is one of the handy primers for pupils, teachers and guardians to learn Odia Alphabets (Barna), Word-structure (Shabda) and Correct spelling (Shuddha Banan) of words. The basics of correct spelling and writing are explained in simple, communicative and spoken Odia language. The author of this text is a nonagenarian – veteran teacher, who explored an innovative method of learning by using his experience and intense observations for the the capacity building of the beneficiaries. The purpose is to correct the errors very often the learners commit. The method is lucid and structure of the text is lyrical mostly in couplets easy to recite and remember.
